Pandu, Alip, Nastiti, Izah, Eka, Fildzah

  • Description

There are many beautiful tourism objects in Indonesia that still hidden and unfamous to our society.  Especially natural tourism objects. We have been often see on the TV programs that show the hidden part of tourism object  that has beautiful scenery to be explored as a tourism object at that region. Mostly the objects are waterfall, cave, castle and beach.

My friend and I from group one of Tourism Guiding Class had succed to found the hidden beauty of tourism objects in the Nusakambangan island.  Here, we found natural tourism objects such as Brambangan waterfall and Karangbolong beach, and also there are historycal tourism objects like Jamur castle and Portugis castle.
  • Location
  •        Coordinate of Nusakambangan Island
    07o 4705” LS dan 109o 02 34” BT

  • Destination When we are there
The first trip is going to Brambangan waterfall which is located in Nusakambangan Island. To get there we had to go to Teluk Penyu beach first, afterthat we get the boat to visit Nusakambangan Island. It took around 15 minutes, after we arrived at Nusakambangan Island we passed the forest to reach the place. We had to climb the big rock. During our trip we met  some wild animals such as : snake and panther. We just walk slowly to pass the wild animals. At the forest we will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nusakambangan Island.  There are many various trees around Brambangan waterfall like ; banana’s trees,  cacao’s trees, orange’s trees, etc. After we felt  satisfied with our journey, we can go down from Brambangan waterfall and  continue for the next tourist object.

The second trip is Jamur castle (Kelingker) which is located in East Nusakambangan Island. We can go there from waterfall of Brambangan at least 10 minutes by boat. We walked at least 5 minutes  to get the place. We only passed a big tree when we enter the castle, if we want to enter the second floor,  we have to climb the roots because there is no  stairs. Beside the Jamur castle there is another castle which has many rooms for resistances.

The third trip are Portugis castle and Karang Bolong beach. We came back to the pier to visit the Portugis Castleby boat.We passed the tools for taking the oil from the center of the sea.If we found the holey coral it means we have arrived in the location. The  first place is Portugis castle. We passed Karang Bolong beach and than walked until the place.  There is a canteen which provides  many kinds of food and drink. In Portugis castle we found some rooms such as ; present room, aula room, meeting room, jail, etc. The second place is Karang Bolong beach. Here, we will enjoy beautiful scenery with beautiful white sands. After we finished our trip we came back to the Teluk Penyu beach.

The name of  Karang Bolong means coral (karang) with a hole (bolong). Karang Bolong beach is the recreation area where is a big coral with hole in the center, facing the open sea, making it took very piqturesque. There is a small forest which has been converted into recreation spot.

Karang Bolong beach has smooth and clean white sand. There is also small shells spead of along the beach. The wave rolling the beach makes the beach more beautiful.

Based on our visit at the various interesting places stated above like CurugBrambangan, Jamur Castle, Portugis Castle, KarangBolang Beach, it is really highly recommended for the tourists to visit there because of its advantages. And it is really essential for us especially local government to realize that there should be more action to explore those hidden interesting places for some reasons. First, not many people know the exact places to visit there. There should be more action from the government to promote those places. Second, the visitor will be seen lots of historical places there regarding with the colonial era. Furthermore, visitors will understand more about the history of the places.

Relating to the explanation stated earlier, we really suggest that there is no reason to visit those hidden wonderful places.
